Wildwood
The Wildwood neighbourhood is located in Saskatoon’s southeast corner and contains a portion of the 8th Street business sector. The bulk of its 7,600 people live in multi-unit apartment-style residences and townhouses, which were built in the 1970s. Bishop Pocock Catholic School and Wildwood Elementary School are both open to students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The Cliff Wright Branch Public Library is located in the Lakewood Civic Centre, which features a huge indoor pool with a waterslide, exercise and recreation spaces, and the Cliff Wright Branch Public Library. Wildwood Golf Course, located on 8th Street, has 18 holes of golf, a practise green, a pro shop, and a coffee shop. Many various bus lines pass up and down 8th Street, making city transportation easily accessible. The region has nearly 70 acres of park and wetlands, which provide home for native aquatic creatures, birds, and insects. The 8th Street sector is home to a plethora of restaurants, shopping, and other attractions. The Wildwood Mennonite Church is a well-known center of worship in the area.
