Holiday Park
The population of Holiday Park is roughly 1,600 people. This mature, well-treed neighbourhood offers a plethora of outdoor activities to offer its inhabitants as well as the city as a whole. Holiday Park Golf Course is open all year, including snow golf and well-kept cross-country ski paths in the winter. North of this location are the Riversdale Tennis Club and Riversdale Pool, an outdoor public swimming pool with a waterslide. The Gordie Howe Management Area is now receiving a multi-million dollar makeover and expansion. Baseball diamonds, a speed skating oval, multi-purpose grass fields, indoor facilities, track and field, and much more can be found at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex. The Meewasin Valley Trail, which runs beside the South Saskatchewan River, has fantastic walking and riding routes. In Holiday Park, there are two Catholic primary schools: St. John’s Catholic School and the Saskatoon French School, which is a French immersion school. The Gordie Howe Bridge and South Circle Drive, as well as bus services, provide rapid access to the east side of Saskatoon. St. John Bosco Catholic Parish, Open Door Baptist Church, and the Saskatoon Tabernacle are three congregations to select from.
