Riversdale
Despite being one of Saskatoon’s oldest neighbourhoods, Riversdale is gaining popularity due to its closeness to downtown and the South Saskatchewan River. Many contemporary stores, new cafés, and restaurants on 20th Street engage the neighbourhood. Walking distance to the Midtown Plaza Shopping Center, Scotiabank Cinemas, and the Saskatoon Farmers Market, as well as a wide range of other businesses and attractions. Riversdale is full of character and charm, with nine historic structures, two of which are the Adilman Building and the Little Chief Community Police Station. Riversdale Swimming Pool is open throughout the summer months, allowing locals to cool off in the pool or ride down the waterslide. Princess Alexandra, the public primary school, serves students in kindergarten through eighth grade. There are four stunning churches in the region, as well as numerous more attractions for people interested in culture and the arts.
