Westmount
Westmount, which is located in the centre of Saskatoon, has a population of around 2,300 people. This neighbourhood is mostly made up of low-density, single-family detached homes constructed before 1960. Homesteaders colonised the area that is now Westmount in 1884 as the east bank settlement of Saskatoon. Westmount Community School serves elementary children in this region (kindergarten through grade 8). E.D. Feehan High School is a bilingual English and Ukrainian school that also provides Cree and Spanish lessons. The majority of Westmount’s businesses are located along 22nd Street West, and there are several bus lines that go along this street and through the neighbourhood. This neighbourhood has four main parks scattered around it and is also home to Oliver Lodge Special Care Home.
