Silverwood Heights
Silverwood Heights, located in north-central Saskatoon, has an estimated 11,000 people and is one of the city’s largest subdivisions. Brownell School, Marion M. Graham Collegiate, Silverwood Heights School, St. Angela Elementary School, and École Sister O’Brien School, which provides French immersion, are among the five schools in this neighbourhood. Silverwood Heights has about 75 acres of parks, with W.J.L. Harvey Park North being the largest. Throughout the year, residents enjoy strolling the Meewasin Trail and taking in the vistas of the South Saskatchewan River. During the warmer months of the year, Silverwood Golf Course is an excellent choice for a round of golf. The building of the Chief Mistawasis Bridge, located just north of Silverwood on Warman Road, has substantially enhanced access to this region. Lawson Heights Mall features a wide range of retailers and services, including London Drugs and Safeway. Lawson Heights Civic Centre, which is nearby, has an indoor wave pool, sauna, and workout centre, as well as the closest public library.
